Displayport multiple monitor setup
Problem solved! I had the 2-D panel transparency set to 100%. Somewhere along the line I have reset defaults while tweaking something else and the transparency returned to 100%. The panels pop-ups were there all the time but totally transparent. You really kick yourself when you make mistakes like that!

Displayport multiple monitor setup
I have set up my triple monitor display for FSX via an ADI 6850 graphics card and Windows 7. The interface for the main (central) monitor is Displayport, and using the Eyefinity software to set it all up for a three-display widescreen view. It all works great and VFR flying in particular is just breathtaking. One problem has surfaced, however. I am unable to access any pop-up panels in my aircraft. No 2-D panels seem to be available, and when I try to select a pop-up Radio Stack, GPS, Autopilot, etc., the pop-up flickers on the screen as a black box for a second and then disappears. I am not sure whether the problem is associated with Displayport or the multiple monitor setup itself. I have been playing around with settings in FSX, Catalyst Control Centre and Windows Control Panel looking for a solution but nothing works so far. It's a pity because an airliner VC is just beautiful with the three displays - not much good though if I cannot use the autopilot pop-up or GPS.

Error 75 Radar Contact and Kapersky, and Norton
I have a similar problem with "Run-time error '76': Radar Contact.fsuipc.rv4code." Radar Contact quits after a period. I have tried the above fix, telling my AVG to recognize files in my Modules and RCV4 directories, but the problem remains.I get a similar error message: "Run-time error '76': RadarContact.fsuipc.rcv4code". Radar Contact quits after a period. I have tried the fix of telling my AVG Resident Shield to recognize files from my Modules and RV4 directories but the problem still occurs. I don't want to shut down my virus protection while running RC because other addons are using the internet.

FS Elemental - is it working?
Thank you, gentlemen. The Registry Repair worked fine. FS Elemental now is installing correctly. Somehow, my FS9 registry entry must have been removed, but is there now. If Flight Simmers ran the world, there would be co-operation and everything would be made to work....eventually. Thanks again.

FS Elemental - is it working?
I purchased and installed the new FS Elemental Natural and Intense packages. They did install and have placed icons on my desktop which offer changing FS9 textures. However, the installation appears not to have located my FS9 folder. It seems to recognise only a C: drive installation of FS9 and does not ask the user to point to the correct directory. The icon installations go through their paces, but give the warning message: "Unable to late the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 installation folder from the Windows System Registry. Setting to default path C:\Program Files\~Flight Simulator 9. This may have unexpected results." I keep my FS9 on a different drive. When flying FS9 I can't say I can see any changes in the texures. I don't think that FS Elemental is moving its special textures into the sim. I have tried contacting FS Elemental's support, but have had no reply. Strangely, the FS Elemental website will not come up in my browser on my home computer so that I can check if there is any advice there. Has anyone else had problems with installing FS Elemental?

Navigraph AIRACs
I am using the Navigraph service to obtain my charts. It also offers an AIRAC database service for many of the commercial aircraft add-ons like the FeelThere/Wilco Airbus for FSX. After installing the latest AIRAC and starting the sim, as soon as the flight begins, I get the message "The AIRAC cycle of the saved flight plan does not match the current navigation database". The A320's MCDU is not picking up the data on airports, waypoints, etc. I have asked Navigraph for advice, but perhaps someone on the Forums can help also.
