I get two errors. When I do not start rc as an administrator (vista 64), I get the error 'IP timed out all entries'. So I did some research and I believe that it can be solved when I run rc as an administrator. So that is what I do: Then the second error comes up: 'component comdlg32.ocx or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid'.So some other research...I downloaded comdlg32.ocx and .dll and put them in the windows\syswow64 folder. I ran cmd as an administrator and typed in regsvr32 comdlg32.ocx... a box told me that it was a succes. But I still can't run rc as an administrator. I know I did well. Fsx is running and my plane is at a gate. I've got the latest version of fsuipc and rc version 4.3.385.So, what can I do?ThanksMartin

after you registered comdlg32.ocx, and you start rc as administrator, what happens?you always have to run as admin in vista and 7. not just the first time, or just during registration. and you have to run as admin if you starting from a shortcut, a start/programs/ etc, or if you want to double click the .exe.jd

Yes, I hate VISTA! I'm always running as administrator on all my programs. Learn that the hard way...So...1. I right click rcv icon and click run as administrator...2. I got a box that makes me choose between cancel or allow (user control)3. I got an error that claims that says that comdlg32.ocx is not correctly registered and so on, so it's still the same message. I'm absolutly sure that I did that right. I read about that subject all evening and did like indicated.Martin

is this 64 bit vista?if so, the comdl32.ocx needs to go to the \syswow64 directorythen you have to open a dos window, as admin, navigate to the \syswow64 directory, and type in the regsvr32 command.let me know if that helps.send me an email with a screen shot of the dos window, with the regsvr32 command and result visible if you still have trouble.and vista isn't that bad. it's not xp. and it's not windows 7.

I got it to run after a complete reinstallation of my computer. Not the best way, but it's working anyway
