October 6, 200916 yr My flaps are at 9, Condition Levers Flight, Spoiler switch on, Trim set, Weight & Balance set, FMS programmed, Vnav set, Alt Sel set, Heading Set, windshield is clean but dang ..... I still get the red warning light that I can't turn off and the beep beep beep beep beep!! Annunciator says "Config" ..... ok .... but which config? As soon as I'm airborne all is well ... light and beeper off. What am I overlooking? Try Ctrl F4 (condition levers 100%) and see if that solves your issue. Vin Scimone Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com
October 6, 200916 yr Parking brakes will cause the config warning, but that is a little to obvious. Verify condition set by pressing Ctrl+F4. The FMS is irrelevant to this alarm.Ah, vin beat me. Dan Downs KCRP
October 7, 200916 yr Author Darn ..... I was hoping .. :( but still beeping. I have a joystick but I have the Insert key programmed for the Condition Levers and I do hear the announcement "Condition Levers Flight" so I should be good to go. I also watched the Condition Levers as hit Ctrl/F4 and they didn't move any further so I think they were ok. I also hear a pulsating sound until airborne, although the engine gauges appear to be normal ... that is, no excessive temps or power. There was a time when I didn't see this ... so I must have changed something ... or changed my procedure. I just thought of something .... perhaps I have the elevator trim in back of the "green" range? I'll have to check that out ................... Ok ..... yep ..... my bad. Elevator trim was too far back ...... always learning.
