Where does PMDG FMC's get airport runway info...is it NavData or from scenery? I'm having some issues with a flight departing NZWP. As I setup the FMC I get the following message after entering NZWP in the position init page:What does "Err at GATES, Line 1" indicate?I clear the message and proceed but when it comes time to enter the departure runway, none of the 6 are recognized ("Not in Database"). So I go to the "Dep/Arr" page and select NZWP dep...and none of the runways are listed?I do have addon scenery for NZWP thus my question RE where the PMDG FMC's get runway info.Thanks

The message "Err at GATES" means there is a syntax error in the sidstar file. Did the NZWP.txt file come from Navigraph?

Please go to their forum and report the problem, this is about the only way they have of finding errors.You can email the file to me and I could probably quickly find the error: [email protected]

Only gates in the NZWP.TXT file (0910) - no runways so defo a report to navigraph forum I'd say.John Ellison

Wow, that's a first. Sounds like a good time to pull the file from backup. Thanks for looking, John, I assumed something a little harder to find.

That certainly narrows it down! I've removed the addon scenery but, from what I'm hearing from you, this would only be caused by Navigraph data, cycle 0910? I will pull the backup and make a report. In truth, I had other, graphics, issues with the scenery so...I'll probably not re-install it. I will try another flight in a 737, just to see.Thanks!!
