Is Scotflight an enhancement for EGPE - i.e. the airport itself? If so, it may have been created with a program that "draws" the runways and taxiways etc. rather than doing that with an Afcad.Your edits to the default afcad for the airport would likely not show up as they are being "masked" by the enhanced airport.More details regarding Scotflight would be helpful.

Scotflight have a website here: http://www.scotflightscenery.com/Their product covers landclass, various landmarks and many airports in Scotland - it is an excellent product and well supported. Opa is absolutely correct in that EGPE (Inverness) is a modelled scenery including ground / taxiway / runway textures and so changing the AFCAD will not change the ground markings in any way... However, (and I have done this) you can modify the AFCAD* to add more parking spots to EGPE and the AI will use these spots even though they don't have the proper ground markings. *I can't remember exactly but I think the AFCAD files for Scotflight are in the Scotflight/Scenery directory so that's the one you'll have to modify. If you modify the default one and save it then you'll end up having duplicate AFCADs for EGPE and that's asking for trouble!!Cheers,Geoff

cheers for the replyYeah I noticed that :( , Is there a freeware utility that cold change that somehow because all I want to do is add a couple more parking spots, Actualy I'm not changeing the realism of the airport becase Im addid 3 parking spots which are there in real life bt not in the scotflight scenery. I also must agree with yo its an excelent package well worth the pennies bt I wold disagree on the support side, it takes a while for them to get back to you and I still have a few ananswered questions with them, bt that doesnt bother me becase I'm from scotland (not far from ness ) and I like what they have done :(

As has been said, you can change the parking positions if you want to (you can use AFCAD2 to do that) but they will not be displayed visually if any scenery deploys its own "better-than-default" taxiways, runways and aprons. There is a large apron at Inverness in the Scotflight scenery and it is feasible to add additional parking spaces to ensure the airport is never full. These will lack a yellow taxi-line but they will be usable.I don't think you can expect much support from any add-on scenery developer if you actually want to modify the look of the airport that they have spent so much time on.John

My co-pilot's name is Sid and he's a star!

I know they spent loads of time on it (And very gratful) but I wold jst like to add some Exsisting parking spots(Actally at inverness) bt are not inclded in the scenery package, so I wold of thoght they would be all happy for someone to send the info in but as fsx seems to be taken over those on a low income cant get the compters with the specs to play it have to make do with fs9 and it seems they are no longer doing updates for the fs9 version. So they sholdnt have any problems with it I woldnt of thoght.regards
