Scenery Library Problem

Featured Replies

Accidentally I erased all the entry's in the scenery library while rearranging them. The files are still on the hard drive. Is there a simple solution.? I've tried a repair using disc 1 but that didn't work. Any help will be most appreciated.Ray

If you don't have addons installed, a kind soul might send you a barebone scenery.cfg. But I think it has to be from the language version you own.You could also do a search for scenery.cfg on your computer, including hidden and system files. AFAIK FSX stores several versions in different locations, but updates only one.

Thanks, I have the scenery.cfg in the Microsoft Flight SimulatorX folder. What do I do with it.? I'm not very clever. :(

If you run xp copy intoC:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\FSXIf you run Vista or I assume Win7 copy intoC:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSXThis assumes C: is your "system" drive/partition where windows runs from. That will take care of the default scenery. any addon scenery will have to be entered via the scenery library or in a text editor. scott s..
