TileProxy on multiple PC's

Featured Replies

Hi all,I just started to use TileProxy for a month now and working perfect.Last week I did a complete new install of FSX on Windows 7 64 Bit.Everything is working ok.I got a second PC next to it running XP. I installed Squawkbox and ASX on this one and it connect perfectly via SimConnect to my FSX Machine. Now I was wondering: Is it possible to install TileProxy on a second machine, since you can/need to share the FSX main folders over the network anyway. Also I can imagine that it takes of some load off the hardrive access.Could anybody tell me if this is possible? Thanks!!Br. Wessel

Hi , Actually this should be possible, by using special software. I have just purchased a software called wideview: http://www.wideview.it/wideview.htm which lets you run 2 pc's networked together to run multiple scenery windows. Also, you can use wideFS, ( I think Pete Dowson developed this) to use other Pc's to run programmes like ASA etc.Although I am not saying it categorically , mind you ! Cheers, Mark
