Why didn't PMDG make a Center pedestal for the 2D Panel?

Yep, you are right. A lot of garbage, but also a lot of good workarounds. Stil not the answer if it will come back. Only a none satisfying answer: It was to difficult too build in a too short time...- Why didn't PMDG make a Center pedestal for the 2D Panel?

I think this thread is about the question "why has the 2D throttle quadrant been left out?" and "will it come back?" The answers that have been given in all the posts have not been satisfied. If it is this disscusion will stop.- all about sounds...
Yep, the hotfix aug16 fixed my mutiple display 2D panel sound problem.- Dual Monitors Windows 7 64 bit using NVIDIA Card
Yes i got the sound problem also. If you leave the main fsx startup screen with your mouse to touch some 2D panels, then the cockpit sound will be gone. The issue is noticed and will be possibly be solved in the next service update (I do not think it is solved in the new hotfixes, did not had time to check that.) Wessel- No internal cockpit sound in multi display setup
Hi,I am just curious if more users got this problem.I got a pc with multiple dislays. The in cockpit sounds are only heard when one of the panels on my main display is activated. If I for example activate the fms panel on another dislplay, then I can't hear the cockpit sound, only the engines. I checked a lot already in the FMC sound settings, but could not solve the issue.Offcourse I use a 2D setup. Anybody familiar with this issue or knows a workaround?Br Wessel- Throttle Quadrant 2D panel missing?
+1- Where did the 2D Throttle Quadrant go?
Ok, now I am confused....Where did the 2D Throttle Quadrant discussion go?- The closest thing to reality
+1- Throttle Quadrant 2D panel missing?
Ok, another explenation why I prefer 2D above 3D: If I fly an airplane, I always look outside and scan my instruments as in the book of every pilot If I am in a desc. and ATC gives me an STAR to follow, in 3D I am fiddeling around on an FMC on my huge Triple Head to Go wide screen without having the possebility to have an eye on where the horizon is and where I am going. For me that feels like a pilot stops flying an airplane and bent ride over close to the FMC to program it. Maybe for the 3D guys they don't mind, but for me it does not feel right. I am still young, but do not forget that in the FS community there are a lot of 55+ users (!Pay attention PMDG!; those are the users with money) who love the 2D panels because they can control the overview.- Throttle Quadrant 2D panel missing?
I do not understand why they deleted the pol... Maybe becayse they think it is useless? The 2D panel will be in the next update anyway?- Throttle Quadrant 2D panel missing?
Wel I am a 2D panel user. Mainly because I got a 5 multiple display setup. (all 4:3). In VC mode I can only use 3 (TH2GO). Also, the 2D panels freeze when I got VC open on the TH2GO. If 2D is going to disapear, half of my hardware become useless and I need to invest in 16:9 displays. Also What to think of touchscreens that where build in home made cockpits? There are a lot around. So those costumers need to rethink their cockpit design? B.r Wessel- 2D Cockpit 4:3?
I just resized the panel from the bottom a little and then moved it down. Worked for me- 2D cockpit
