August 5, 201114 yr hey guys Have been finding my way around the 2d cockpit but i havent been able to locate the throttle quadrant in the 2d panel anywhere. Did they not include this panel for starting and seting the trim ?? ThanksChris Finlay
August 5, 201114 yr No it is not, you will have to use key commands or virtual cockpit. VR Todd ATP MEL Commercial SEL B-747, BE-300, BE-400, DHC8, ERJ 170/190, MU-300 C-17A Globemaster III

August 5, 201114 yr what's a 2d panel? Nick MIt is about 2 mtrs long, and normally found on the arse end of Massey Fergusson tractors and just above the cockpit coaming on narrow bodied aircraft.

August 5, 201114 yr The 2D is the way I fly - I find it the best for me. How would you access the engine fuel cut off switch, or the flaps? Aren't they on the throttle quad? I usually have the 2D throttle panel open up and use my mouse to change the flap setting or turnon the fuel during start-up. How would I do this now in the 2D? Paul Gugliotta
August 5, 201114 yr HiI've got a high end system, a triple head to go, and I am used to fly in a 2D cockpit setup. I use several 4:3 displays to show the panels. I read already that there is no 2d Throttle panel. That is a bummer... How about the main panel? Is it only suitable for widescreens?Wessel Wessel Hof CEO
August 5, 201114 yr Wessel, Nope, all the 2D panels work in 4:3 just fine. Yours truly has 4:3 displays, and I too am a 2D user mainly. Tero PPL(A)
August 5, 201114 yr Ok, missing throttle quad panel is problem. Can we ask for that in SP? I can understand there is no HUD or FO panel in 2d, but throttle quad is really necessary. Lj. August 5, 201114 yr I was a hard core 2D panel fan, until I used the NGX VC. Try it out for one flight, it's not like anything you have seen before. I agree with George. Folks, this VC is so nice and fluid I tend to use it instead of 2D panels. And I too was a vivid 2D panel user before the NGX. Even on my ancient rig I get fluid and smooth VC. Try it. You'll like it! ;) Cheers, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
August 5, 201114 yr VC is nice and smooth, but I still prefer 2d. :) Lj. Prodanovic Lj. Prodanovic
