August 5, 201114 yr No 2d throttle quadrant?? I thought that was a joke at first. I only fly in 2d, not a 3d fan at all. Hope to see a 2d throttle quadrant in the future. Great plane by the way. Christian
August 5, 201114 yr Atleast give us the cut off fuel switches so we canstart the engines ? I hate flying in VC no matter how nice it is. Thanks, Ran Finkels
August 5, 201114 yr Wow, I think most people would be amazed that PMDG even included ANY 2D pit. Glenn Ryzen 3700X, X570 Pro Wifi, 32GB 3600mhz RAM, Nvidia Titan Xp "Galactic Empire", RM750x PSU, H700 case, 2x NVMe M2 SSD, 1x SATA SSD

August 5, 201114 yr my 2D panel doenst work, the size is still incorrect, and still this scellete problem with the exterior model(i added the line into fsx.cfg already)..help? If you can´t read it, you can´t fly it. Real world B777F pilot
August 5, 201114 yr Yeah, I was amazed when I saw the pictures on Facebook. Anywho, just assign for example two keystrokes for the fuel cutoff switches. I have done it with Y, U for both #1 and #2 IDLE and Ctrl + Y , Ctrl+ U for CUTOFF positions. Flaps are done by two buttons on my throttle quadrants. The only annoying thing is that i can't read the trim setting. Is it possible to show that one on the SYS page on the Lower DU? Regards, Harm Swinkels
August 5, 201114 yr I just got EZDoK (great software). It has a number of default views. This is the default throttle view in the PMDG737NG AAL-800 2D cockpit. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
August 5, 201114 yr Guys, Seems a stupid question but please help me. In 2D panel mode I´m unable to move my eyepoint up and down (like Shift+Enter or Shift+Backspace). This is necessary to see the up front view while flying. Best Regards, Adenilson

August 5, 201114 yr I fly in the vc, but you can just press shift+a while in the 2d cockpit and it will take you to the center pedestal. It will also remember the last eye location in the center pedestal by doing this so you can still use the throttle quadrant while in 2d. Alfredo Terrero
August 5, 201114 yr I agree, please add the throttle quadrant in a service pack or update -Sean L PPL + IFR, SEL HP/Complex.. LAS WN Ground Ops
August 8, 201114 yr Was left out by design - that's the most time consuming part of the 2D to do because of the animation and we didn't feel it added anything to make it worth delaying the product further.I would have to disagree with you ! I only use the 2d cockpit and love those 2d panels. I hope the throttle panel will be added in a future update. Everything else is just fantastic !! Fred. Frederic Steiner.
August 8, 201114 yr I agree 2D for life!! I have a full pit and have no use for the 3D-VC. my biggest issue is i can't find a way to bind a key or joystick command to the fuel cut-offs. has any one had any luck with this? It would also be cool to have a panel selector like the iFly has, just personal preference.
August 8, 201114 yr I just got EZDoK (great software). It has a number of default views. This is the default throttle view in the PMDG737NG AAL-800 2D cockpit. Now all you have to do is assign a key to that... usually for 2D it was shift+something. I tend to give EZCA numbers 1,2,3...0, and CTRL+1,2,3...0.Have fun! It's basically THE SAME as having 2D, except WAY better.

Everything else is just fantastic !! Fred. Correct!I always have used 2D for departure and approach.IMO, if you have a 2D cockpit you should have a 2D cockpit as complete as other markets offerings (and, PMDG's past offerings).
