The closest thing to reality

Featured Replies

PMDG Through all the technical issues that are being brought up and the the complaints of poor performance etc about the NGX i think there is a more important reality behind what you are doing. For me, this is the closest i will ever get to flying a real airliner. I always wanted to be a pilot but alas my eyesight saw to it that i wouldn't be. To be able to experience for an hour or two the sheer pleasure of simulated flight helps me to overcome that disappointment. In that context, being able to enact the types of procedures and challenges of flying through such a complex simulation really does fill me with joy. The NGX is a breeze to fly, you feel like you're in an actual cockpit and the experience so immersive you don't want it to end. Beyond just selling add ons for FSX i think you should also take credit for providing a snippet of reality that alot of us will never experience. You make an awful lot people very happy with the products you sell so you all deserve a massive load of respect in my book for being able to do that. I simply cannot wait for your future products but the i guess the irony is that the best things come to those who wait! I will be a customer for life no doubt about that! Matt T

+1The NGX is too cheap if you compare with other FSX a/c addons.

+1 This is the first plane ever in my flightsim experience that i fly from both seats. Taking off as captain then land as FO and on the return flight vice versa.

The NGX is very close to reality but so is my home simulator which is made from a real Boeing Cockpitwith the real quadrant, rudder pedals, control columns, and 747 seats. lol. 73701.jpg

Your cockpit is bigger than my room, that is impressive.Do you ever sleep in there? With those multi displays, I think you can watch the dirt while watching the dirt.

I never realised how much this plane would be; I just landed into canouan airport ( fly Tampa grenadines) which has a 4500ft runway and with the short field option installed it performed perfectly. It makes summing way more fun when you an aircraft with a mission profile such as the NGX. The BBJ version will be awesome too.I realise that typing on the iPad is rubbish hence my spelling in my last post!

I was ticked off that I couldn't just point and click an autoland, so I flew the approach... Can't believe how fun this thing is to fly.... the HUD is interesting but i don't care... this is the hands down best SIMULATION ever produced, the others are just games, even the former PMDG addons, they seem so inferior now. Plus all the easter eggs in here for realism enthusiasts....
