August 10, 201114 yr The NGX is very close to reality but so is my home simulator which is made from a real Boeing Cockpitwith the real quadrant, rudder pedals, control columns, and 747 seats. lol. You just have enough money, don't you! Awesome thing!
August 10, 201114 yr Thats Beautiful Frederic do you have any youtube vids?? No !! I must organize doing a few. Although the real cockpit is great and fun to use, the NGX is also great !!I have not stopped using it since I got it.It is the very best destop simulation period !!!! PMDG amaze me as usual. Frederic Steiner.
August 10, 201114 yr I love realistic landings, I keep bouncing it. You are not the only one lol. I ALWAYS land manually. I've actually never tried the autoland feature in this aircraft before and probably never will :) +1 to the OP. You couldn't have said it any better. August 10, 201114 yr +1The NGX is too cheap if you compare with other FSX a/c addons. I said OTHER addons is very expensives!! August 10, 201114 yr I said OTHER addons is very expensives!! I think the NGX is very cheap to buy !The real Boeing manuals alone are worth much more. I would gladly pay a lot more for it. Fred. Frederic Steiner.
August 10, 201114 yr How much did all of that cost you?I was lucky to get the real cockpit and controls fairly cheap. The whole project cost about 60,000 euro. Frederic Steiner.
August 10, 201114 yr Shhhhh, if PMDG find out that there are some of us prepared to spend that much on simming, the price of the 777 will be through the roof! Really nice looking setup as well. Will you be able to incorporate the NGX's systems/displays into it once the SDK is released? i7 2600k @ 5.1Ghz, ASUS Sabertooth P67, 8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600Mhz, EVGA GTX 580 @ 950MHz, OCZ Vertex II 240GB, ASUS Xonar DG, Thermaltake Toughpower XT 875W PSU, Antec KÜHLER 620 W/C, Corsair 600T SE White My FS9 Screens - http://fs9screens.blogspot.com/ Callum Richardson

Will you be able to incorporate the NGX's systems/displays into it once the SDK is released? It might be possible but it is now run using the Project Magenta Boeing suite.I think that's the only system for a fully funtioning cockpit. The SDK is probably the only thing that's missing from that setup, maybe putting the flight deck on a 6 DOF motion platform would put that over the top! If I had the cabbage, that's what I'd do. August 11, 201114 yr The SDK will make no difference to this setup. I use the NGX on 1 computer in 2D. Fred. Pardon my ignorance, Fred. What you've done with the flight deck build along with Project Magenta really impresses what can be done. I'm unfamiliar with how PMDG's new release could work with your current flight deck, but hoping it is possible. Thanks for clearing that up.
