October 29, 200916 yr Commercial Member I have FSX installed and running on the new system, see specs in signature and have been completey blown away by the performance. Initial test flights in vanilla FSX with all sliders maxed were giving 70 - 120 FPS.I am a photoscenery nut and using TileProxy, its rock solid at 25 FPS locked, 150 kts airspeed and fantastic scenery as far as you can see. The level of differnce between the old ( no slouch itself) and new machine is awesome and really suprised me. Anyway, just wanted to thanks before I go off and wet myself again in excitement!!Cheers, Mark

November 5, 200916 yr Hi Mark,I have noticed that you, and others, have an fsx server machine and a client. If it's not a stupid question, why do you have this setup? What is the advantage and how do you use FSX in this way? Also, do you think that your SSDs have made a difference to the performance of FSX?Thanks,PetePS Awesome system!!!
