I have been without my MD-11 for a couple days now, following a reformat etc... I was able to reinstall and validate the 744 without issue, yet I cannot vaildate the MD-11. I get this error "Unable to validate your license. Please contact PMDG Technical Support". I have not yet received an automated responce and have tried a couple different addresses. I have been on their home page all morning looking for some info as well as reading the posts here, I am not running a firewall,, well not anymore that is. One thing I just noticed is their web site now (minutes later) appears to be down. I'm not sure if their web site and their validation server is the same, or if the web site is going through maintenance (my luck),,, or if PMDG got sick of all my emails from multiple email addresses and blocked my IP :( ...Another important note is that the validation attempt fails instantaneously without hesitation and then the process "PMDG_MD11_FSX_Setup.exe" hangs for about 30 seconds. This doesn't seem like it had adequate time to do anything. I would at least hope for a more precise error, like your email does not match or password incorrect, maybe this would save on the amount of support emails?Can someone try their site and see if they can get in?I tried to ping them at 64.71.225.166 (Their site www.precisionmanuals.com) but it times out also.Thanks,Dan

I get an http 500 error, but the server for the ops wiki is up; regardless, they will probably be able to get your email just make sure you get an automatic response. Don't expect a human response on weekends tho.

Thanks Dan, Yeah I was able to log into the wiki also. I have now tried 3 emails, yahoo, aol & verizon and none get an auto responce. Weird, since last week I didn't either when reporting a web site link they had crossed with another product, yet a couple days later I got a human responce. Lastly,,, I noticed on that email the email address was different than the normal [email protected]. It was [email protected] so I tried that one as well. Nothing as of yet in return.

Their web site is still down. I want to make a purchase and can't !Unusual to have this much down time from PMDG - hope they haven't been attacked !Davido

Same issue here. I had to reinstall FSX today and now I'm unable to fly the MD-11. Seems that the website is down.

Web site is back up and MD-11 validation went through! :(
