Hi Bryan, I truly love the realism your product adds to the flightsim environment. So far, I have the PMDG MD-11 version for both FS9 and FSX, and I am looking to purchase more, although I am in somewhat of a quandry. This is because I have PMDGs747 for both FS9 and FSX,similarly, Flight 1s ATR 72-500 for both, Level-Ds 767 for both. Your FlightCrewX and Heavy Hitters only have mostly one or the other and, additionally, nixing the Heavy Hitters, is the fact that I already own the MD-11 version, and cannot 'afford ' redundancy !!! Is there any options for me, Please :( ???Anyhow, as the Topic title suggests, my issue here is that in programming my flight briefing, I have very limited choices of Cities, Airports.... Is this something that can be remedied, or is it that I am missing some database installation or something ? This is really a very immersive addition to complex addon aircrafts, and I eagerly await your reply(-ies) :( .Best Regards,GodfreyG :(

Hello Godfrey,Check your PM's. I'll make you a special deal.Regarding cities: We include the major ones and major airports in select versions of FS2Crew. The problem is that there are thousands and thousands of cities and airports, and to record them all is not practical. Now we could use text-to-voice... that would make things very simple because you don't have to record.... but text-to-voice in my view still detracts way too much from the simulation, even when you use the payware 3rd party stuff like the AT & T voices. They still only sound about 70 percent human, and, at least for me, they get annoying quickly.Cheers,

Hi Bryan, thanks for your speedy reply and offer. I'll PM you with respect to the latter. Even though the text-to-voice tend to sound somewhat artificial, it is not that bad. I would much rather have a comprehnsive worldwide database that makes the briefs more "realistic" with respect to the accuracy of departure/arrival info., irrespective of the somewhat 'canned' voice. Would it be possible to use the text-to-voice only for the briefs, and use the recorded voices for the others ?Anyway, Kudos to you and the wonderfully immersive facet you've brought to the flightsim world !!!Best Regards,GodfreyG :(

Hi Godfrey,The problem with using text-to-voice for the briefs is that it'll sound funny as their voices won't match with the rest of the crew. So they'll sound totally out-of-place.Trust me, I wish text-to-voice were as good human voices. If I didn't have to record voices, my life would be a lot easier. But the problem with text-to-voice is that in order to get anything sound remotely half-decent, you have to buy 3rd party voices (such as AT & T's). It's an extra cost many users would not want to pay. That, and the fact that as mentioned, they still don't sound all that great compared to a real voice.I suspect I'd probably lose half my customers by switching to text-to-voice.Perhaps in the future text-to-voice will be better, but not right now it's still in its infancy in my view.Cheers,
