scenery crash at LFNC

Featured Replies

I have a scenery crash at LFNC and surrounding area and need help identifying the file causing the crash. The crash only happens in daylight, if I set FS to night the crash does not happen.I have a lot of 3rd party scenery and have disabled it in sections to try to narrow down the culprit but I still get the crash.I thought FS9\scenery\Eurw\scenery\AP949160 was the culprit but with that renamed I still get the crash. Can anyone offer any help, short of a full FS reinstall?TIA

Looks like it's not that AP949160 file but a seasonal CTD, probably Winter.Only crashes between these dates.November 21st - April 17th.I know FS9 had seasonal CTDs early on but I can't remember what the fix was. I should add that the patch has been applied so it is now FS9.1Thanks for any help

When you say "crash" exactly what is happening? Does FS disappear without any notice or do you get the "FS needs to close" noting what .dll caused the crash?I would guess that one of your addons has a bad seasonal texture, but not knowing what you have makes it impossible to guess.Try turning off all your addons and see if you still crash. Then add them back in one half at a time until you get the crash, then turn off half of what you added in.Continue doing this until you isolate the bad addon.Be aware this might be from a universal texture upgrade or something like Ultimate Terrain also. When you did your initial testing to determine those dates did you turn off all your AI?
