PMDG not working properly under user account

Featured Replies

Hi,I hope someone here can point me in the right direction to solve a puzzling mystery for me. I work for an airline as sys admin and the maintenance department wants to use the PMDG 737 as an educational tool to show maintenance personel the working of various systems. Being the resident Flight sim fanatic, they asked me to do the install.I installed their copy of the 600/700, and after that the 700/800, under a users account which I first gave administrator rights (Windows XP) on the pc.After starting up the flight sim and selecting the 800 (or any other model) there are two things wrong : The right hand side light switches on the overhead panel don't move and don't work, and all display panels are black after applying power to the systems.I found a patch for this problem at Aerosoft and applied it, but without success. The strange thing is however, when I log on to the PC with my administrator account the PMDG works perfectly.I've given the user every right known to men on this pc, but the displays stay black.Does anyone have any idea what can cause this behaviour ?thanksMartin Bunjes
