Hi,When I installed REX I checked the pitch-black option in the settings, but I found FS9, which was already too dark, even darker. So I un-checked it. But I haven't seen a difference.. So I would like to know, is there anything you do to get over this darkness? Any set of textures to make FS a bit brighter? I really can't see anything at night -- I have a few pics to post tomorrow.Thanks,

Hi,I'll try that idea, thanks. In the mean time here are a few shots of darkness. The PMDG 747 cockpit used to be better lighted, I think. Anyway, I will try your suggestion.The ground is blackCockpit...Thanks!

I had this same problem and restoring the textures worked. You will still find some extreme blackness during Dusk when facing the sun at certain angles. I forgot if this was normal or not...

Ok I replaced the textures.. that didn't fix it, maybe I did my back up wrong.. Anyway. Before copying them back, I opened them and they were all pitch black (the 9 textures)Would anyone be kind enough to send me their own sky_midnight textures?Thanks

I thought the same thing... Set your time to midnight and see how things look, you should be back to normal. Dusk will give you some of the same effect until it's completely night in FS. If things still aren't back to normal open the CAB files on your FS9 install disks and you'll be able to hunt around and find the original textures. One of the CD's has them (of course) so don't worry...

It's ok thanks, someone sent me the originals but they were the same I have.. I used photoshop and tweaked them, all good now :)
