December 13, 200916 yr Hi all.I'm thinking of getting some rudder pedals soon. Since I occasionally play driving games, I was wondering if they'd work ok for that too.Anyone tried them? Thanks. Jordan Forrest

December 29, 200916 yr If the racing game you are using allows the accelerator and brakes to be assigned as an axis then you should able to use Saitek pedals with it. That being said the design of the Saitek pedals is for aircraft use and in my opinion would be quite uncomfortable to use as a set of car racing pedals. The pedals themselves can control four axis Left and Right rudder and left and right toe brakes. The toe brake axis would be the closest to mimicking a set of car pedals but there is no way lock the rudder axis. So in an agressive driving situation you could run into problems just keeping your pedals from "pivoting" or remaining "centered" if you follow what I am saying?I think in order to save wear and tear on a set of rudder pedals and to be more comfortable in your racing games I would just buy a Logitech racing wheel pedal combo set for racing and leave the Saitek rudder pedals for what they do quite well and that is controlling the Rudder and toe brakes of an aircraft sim.Hope this helps,Robert RE Thomason Jr.
