December 14, 200916 yr Hi,Does anybody know a good program to scan for double afcad files?I have tried scanafd but I have the impression that it detects more so-called duplicates than the real afcads.ThanksHi Robert,I don't know of any other, but anyway it would almost certainly be beset with the same problems. The problem lies in certain airport files with add-ons containing the same data that AFDs have so they get detected as being AFDs when they are not. The sensible solution is probably to run the check, but don't just delete them there and then but look them up using AFCAD2 or similar to see which really are AFD files and take it from there.John My co-pilot's name is Sid and he's a star! http://www.adventure-unlimited.org
December 14, 200916 yr Never had a problem with ScanAFD. Just double check what you're deleting and you should be fine. - Red E8500 @ 4.1 | EVGA 275GTX (overclocked) | 2x2GB Mushkin Enhanced Redline @ 1066 | Samsung 24inch LCD @ 1920x1080 |
