Runtime error 53

Featured Replies

Hi,RC v. 4.3 running beautifully under both FS9 and FX until I installed Super ATC earlier today. Makerunways started automatically and then... disaster: RC starts normally, but as soon as I select an FS flight plan, the error message pops up and RC goes bang.Any ideas?Merry Xmas to all,G.

From within RC run the scenery database rebuild. Be sure to correctly define the FS path when asked.Within RC define the FLT./WXR path. Restart RC and try loading a plan insuring the correct folder path is in the plan file explorer type dialog box that opens. Do this without running SuperATC. If it is OK then try it with SuperATC running.Maybe something was changed in the installation of SuperATC that after redefining things in RC it might be OK.]You also might make sure that your versions of FSUIPC and especially makerwys.exe are current and have not been overwritten by the SuperATC install. To check go into your FS folder, right click on makerwys.exe and click properties, then the version tab and write it down. the go into your FS Modules folder from there and do the same thing for FSUIPC.dll. Current versions are listed here:http://forums.simflight.com/viewtopic.php?...6d6cd1ba8a494a0If you still have a problem then send in a log. Instructions are pinned in the topic in this forum head section.

as ron says, rebuild rc scenery database from within RC is not the same as double clicking the makerunwys.exe from the root if the fs directory.if you still have problems with run rc, after running rebuild the rc scenery database from within rc, send me the details, including the making a log if possible, instructions on making a log is pinned to the top of the forumjd
