Question About Views

I wonder if I'm missing the obvious here...........?If I'm flying in the VC and have a popup panel also showing, if I then have to change view to the outside, then when returning to VC, the popup is gone.Is there a way have the popups stay in situ until I close them? Thanks

Yes, the cocpit specific views disappear, never gave that a thought, as I usually read the gauges in VC. But the "new view" window stays after you

"I´ll rather be down here wishing I was up there

than be up there wishing I was down here"

If you have the equipment, a second monitor helps with this. I use my first monitor for the main view - usually vc and my second monitor for the pop ups that I will need to use. When flying in full screen, you can drag the GPS, TQ, Overhead, ATC... over to the second monitor and they don't disappear when you switch views on the main monitor. If you have the equipment, a second monitor helps with this. Thanks JeffThat sounds like the way to go for me. I do have a second monitor but it's being run by a separate networked PC for all my addons. Guess I'll have to make space for a third one to do as you suggest. I didn't realise the popups would stay in situ. Thanks
