If you don't mind application loading times in the 10+ minute range, by all means install FSX to a flash drive.

If you don't mind application loading times in the 10+ minute range, by all means install FSX to a flash drive.Techguy - I think you missed the fact that this portable flash drive has "high speed memory chips" - but most importantly its on an E-SATA interface - not USBso you are talking all the pros of a fast 7200rpm HDD (80mb/s read speeds or so)- but with 0.1ms random access times vs 12 on a typcial 7200 driveok it won't be as fast as a SSD drive which have a higher read speed - BUT for
