Changing ILS Idents

Featured Replies

Is there a way to change the ILS idents? KDTW has changed the 4L/22R idents and freqs. Changing the freqs. was easy (using AFX) but the idents will not change. There is box (in AFX) for the ident which allows the change, however the afcad does not reflect the changes. Also, in the sim the idents are the old ones. Did some searching around on this but did not come up with any direction for this little problem. Thanks in advance for any help.

You might have better luck using ADE9X - from what I understand it can do what you are after.http://www.airportdesigneditor.co.uk/Hope that helps.

Do you know what's going on there? This seems more complicated than a typical change. At any rate, replacing an ILS is no easy matter; you have to move the old one away (no way to delete) and then add the new one.scott s..
