January 6, 201016 yr Hey folks -I've got Real Environment X (Fs9), ASA, and Flight Sim 9.If I load up ASA, then start FS9, and fly, every ten seconds during the flight, theres about 1-2 seconds of microstuttering. Its very distracting. As soon as I shut down ASA, the stuttering is gone. What settings can I look at that might be causing this? Thanks,LS
January 9, 201016 yr How do you tell asa to run on a certain core. Thanksanthony Anthony Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHZ, 32 GB ram, win 11, gtx 4070 Super
January 9, 201016 yr Hi,I am not an expert on this because I have a single core system, but if you use Windows Task Manager and on the Processes tab, highlight the .exe and right mouse click on it and one of the options is Affinity and you set it there. Using this method you need to do this each time you run AS, though there may be utilities out there that automatically set things up.
January 9, 201016 yr Moderator How do you tell asa to run on a certain core. ThanksanthonyLook for a freeware program called THG Task Assignment Manager - you can assign specific cores to specific programs. You need to run THG each time before you start the other program.Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160

Can I presume that FS9 will be running on 0 and, therefore, to set ASA on 1. Or is it the other way round? Gavin Barbara Over 10 years here and AVSIM is still my favourite FS site :-)
