Featured Replies

I am experiencing CTDs especially on the longer flights and usually towards the end of the flights. This is the log from the last one. Can anyone help?TksRichard Log Name: ApplicationSource: Application ErrorDate: 1/9/2010 3:55:30 PMEvent ID: 1000Task Category: (100)Level: ErrorKeywords: ClassicUser: N/AComputer: RichardSr-PCDescription:Faulting application name: fsx.exe, version: 10.0.61637.0, time stamp: 0x46fadb14Faulting module name: LVLD.dll_unloaded, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x47c09e9bException code: 0xc0000005Fault offset: 0x0d762930Faulting process id: 0x2d0Faulting application start time: 0x01ca914785170a60Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\fsx.exeFaulting module path: LVLD.dllReport Id: 51930885-fd61-11de-8a4b-00038a000015Event Xml:<Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event"> <System> <Provider Name="Application Error" /> <EventID Qualifiers="0">1000</EventID> <Level>2</Level> <Task>100</Task> <Keywords>0x80000000000000</Keywords> <TimeCreated SystemTime="2010-01-09T20:55:30.000000000Z" /> <EventRecordID>25586</EventRecordID> <Channel>Application</Channel> <Computer>RichardSr-PC</Computer> <Security /> </System> <EventData> <Data>fsx.exe</Data> <Data>10.0.61637.0</Data> <Data>46fadb14</Data> <Data>LVLD.dll_unloaded</Data> <Data>0.0.0.0</Data> <Data>47c09e9b</Data> <Data>c0000005</Data> <Data>0d762930</Data> <Data>2d0</Data> <Data>01ca914785170a60</Data> <Data>C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\fsx.exe</Data> <Data>LVLD.dll</Data> <Data>51930885-fd61-11de-8a4b-00038a000015</Data> </EventData></Event>

Hey Richard, I am experiencing exactly the same thing and it's driving me insane. I tested FSX under Vista64 and now Windows7 64 bits and I still can't figure outwhat's causing this. It seems to be mouse click driven, meaning, at some point, as soon as you click the mouse anywhere in the sim window, the app becomes busy doing something and I already know it's going to crash. It takes a couple of seconds more and then the dreadful message that the program has stopped working and my flight is gone. I checked my video drivers, chipset, even read endless tweaks for FSX.CFG - so far, nothing. I tried using Enhancer, and then uninstall it. I don't have any extra addons so that should not be a problem. Let's put our minds to it and see if we can find why this is happening. have you gone thru reinstalling everything? what are your findings? Anyone else experiencing this crash? please let us know. Michel
