Oh Good, so I am not the only one. Have same problem, points I am trying to enter: ATONE, FAMIN, HARKE, SALER, all rejected. They are on Skyvector and they appear in the nearest intersection page of the 430, but I can't enter them as waypoints in a flight plan. Do you want me to open a ticket or just see what you guys come up with as solution? Michel.

Repair does not fix the issue. I do not believe it is a PMDG font since all of them beginning with PMDG are there for both 777 and NGX. so I have to assume it is using something else I have no idea which one. will wait for PMDG to fix this. Michel Bitton

Ahh, makes sense. My comm screen is also messed up with fairly big text which I found weird. Now it all comes together. I could not find anything in the threads. do we know which fonts is missing? I just noticed that the HUD is blank and not displaying anything in P3D. Worked fine for in FSX. Anyone has that problem? Michel.

I'm sorry, what was the question? I have not flown a non PMDG aircraft in ages. Most are uninstalled by now. Having said that, I am waiting for their 787 though. Wasn't impressed with their 757 but have not tried it after SP3 came out. Michel.

This is good to know. I had that same issue last night where an upgrade attempt from 2.4 to 2.5 failed and had to uninstall it completely and was wondering the same thing. Very happy to know a reinstall of P3D will not 'waste' a PMDG activation. Michel.

I'm sorry, why would a 2D panel be unrealistic? I've seen your video and you used auto landing - oh whoopy. I, for one, like to hand fly and land my aircraft including in IFR conditions, so for me to have to press A countless times, pan around with a joystick hat just to keep scanning the info I need which the 2D panel provided very nicely, the VC is not realistic. I never said the VC is bad, but it should be an option - if you like it, great, go ahead and use it. How difficult would it be to make a 2D panel? is that really that hard? I don't think so. I understand there are limitations when it comes to views and be able to see the info we need quickly and reliably, but for me, the VC is a pain, it's small, you have to zoom out to see what you need and the runway looks like a match stick. try hand flying an airplane like that to the runway. I really can't see what was the value of dropping the 2D panel? and all those references of yours "crutch", "2013", ...you only come across as arrogant and as if a whole group of people does not measure to your level or something just because you somehow adjusted and adopted a feature that although looks nice in pictures, is very unpractical. OK - how? I have a hat switch but like I said, I can move around but the viewing point is fixed. looking up and sideways is very challenging. Do you have to program the hat to be able to move the anchored view point? I will look into EZCA. Not sure whether I am using the 2D popup or not - found the instrument views which I tried and did not work for me. will experiment and see what I can come up with. Michel.

I never liked the VC - the view is stuck in one place and looking around is a miserable experience - looking up at the upper panel you need to twist your head 90 degrees to look at the switches and knobs. Maybe it's me and I may not be doing something right, but I seriously miss the 2D panel view right now. I don't have any of the fancy trackIR or similar device. Is there a key combination to move the view point like we see in the videos? I looked around the documentation, found references to popup but these are just big squares appearing on the screen. Can we ask for the 2D panel back? is that an option? Any tips, info would be appreciated, Michel.

Great news indeed and looking forward to the ER. Can you elaborate on that. Meaning, I know the ER is available on the 700 and 900 only, but on the 900 it's standard. So how is the NGX 900 modeled now? Is it ER already? I've been flying mostly the 600,700 and a little bit of the 800 to notice the 900 yet.The experience thus far has been amazing, love every minute flying these airplanes. Michel.

Could you guys be more specific as to what is happening and why and give examples or screen shots. I have the EMB V2 and have no problems, or at least none that I know of. I have some odd behavior of FSX from time to time but do not know if they are related to what you are talking about. What DLL files are being messed up? I'd definitely like to check my own files and see if anything is not as it should be. Any info would be appreciated. Michel.

Hey Richard, I am experiencing exactly the same thing and it's driving me insane. I tested FSX under Vista64 and now Windows7 64 bits and I still can't figure outwhat's causing this. It seems to be mouse click driven, meaning, at some point, as soon as you click the mouse anywhere in the sim window, the app becomes busy doing something and I already know it's going to crash. It takes a couple of seconds more and then the dreadful message that the program has stopped working and my flight is gone. I checked my video drivers, chipset, even read endless tweaks for FSX.CFG - so far, nothing. I tried using Enhancer, and then uninstall it. I don't have any extra addons so that should not be a problem. Let's put our minds to it and see if we can find why this is happening. have you gone thru reinstalling everything? what are your findings? Anyone else experiencing this crash? please let us know.
