i recently bought the PMDG 737. Everything works fine except for the HUD/HGS What can i do for fixing it? i already tried reinstalling but still happening

I just noticed that the HUD is blank and not displaying anything in P3D. Worked fine for in FSX. Anyone has that problem? Michel.

My version of the Boeing 737-800 by PMDG's HUD is not displaying. I CAN deploy the HUD to in front of me, however the HUD will not "turn on". It just stays there, not lighting up with green text. I have had it before, and for the last week or so, it just hasn't shown up. I read the manual briefly and didnt see anything about it. I'm pretty sure that I pressed a button, just dont know which or where. Again, the HUD comes down, just doesnt activate text

Hi, After years of flying 737NGX without major problems I now have a big one. Activating the HUD, it flips down but I can't get it up again. However, the worst is that nothing in the cockpits works anymore with the mouse. All is locked up. With the hardware MCP, it works well. How to fix things? PS: using beta ChasePlane. Frans

Hello all, Ever since I've used EZdok with the NGX (which is awesome) the camera view for the PIC is not in the correct position and makes the HUD display itself get cut off when in certain modes. I've tried editing the camera within FSX but when I do it only jumps around, not moves smoothly, and doesn't help the problem. This is especially frustrating, especially when using AIII mode, that I cannot see the HGS and the information it provides. Currently my options are too much to the left, or too much to the right. I was also wondering if I could just edit the POV config file to move it without jumping 10 coordinates instead of 1. Any chance I could do that?

Hey guys! I'm looking for the font used in the HUD for most of these flight simulators. Here's an example of what I'm talking about: What font is that? I have been looking all over for the name of the typeface but I can't seem to pin it down. The overall letter forms resemble a those of a dot matrix font, but they are obviously much smoother. Anyone have any idea what this font is called, or where I can find it? Thanks! Daniel -
Does the PMDG 748 have HUD? I cannot find reference to this on the product detail / information. Regards, Kevin

Hello, When I load the NGX I click on the HUD and it gracefully drops down but there's no HUD in the plastic/glass pane like there normally is. I have checked the dll xml file and the PMDGHud dll is there with the right path. I reinstalled it and it still does not work. My dumb brain also tried installing pmdg 747-4 on P3D (which is where i have the NGX installed) and it didn't work giving me some dll error so not sure if that effected anything but I also uninstalled the 747 and reinstalled the 737 and same problem, no lights being projected on the the drop down HUD in the NGX. any help would be great, thanks. Bonjour à tous, Ceci est mon premier post et je tiens donc à me présenter! Charley, 22ans....bientôt 23 (purée déjà...) et simmer depuis quelques années surtout autour de LFRS / LFBO / et LFOQ. J'ai toujours navigué en local mais je pense de plus en plus à IVAO.À vrai dire, la radio me fait un peu peur :blush: ... Je me suis inscrit sur AVsim, car un ami m'en a longuement parlé. J'avoue être un peu perdu dans cette immense forum pour le moment. Ce post n'est d'ailleurs peut-être pas au bon endroit (Le gaffeur du groupe, ne le cherchez plus, il est ici! :ph34r: .) Bon assez parlé de mon nombril..... Depuis quelques mois je dompte le 737 de l'équipe PMDG. Un merveille ce petit bijou! J'ai un soucis comme beaucoup apparamment. Le HUD ne fonctionne pas. Je vous promets, j'ai déja "googolisé" pour trouver une solution, mais rien n'y fait: Le HUD est bien actif dans le FMC J'ai modifié le fichier dll.xml dans le dossier APPDATA en ajoutant J'arrive à le déployer, mais la vitre reste transparente...rien. Ce n'est pas une catastrophe parce que je navigue sans, mais bon j'aimerai bien réussir mes approches avec cet outil :lol: . Si vous aviez une piste pour m'aiguiller je suis preneur.... Pour finir je suis aussi passionné par la photo alors lorsque l'occasion ce présente, je shoot, je shoot.... je vous mets en exclu quelques clichés de ma bibliothèque. (Hélico SAMU 36 Agusta A109 basé sur Chateauroux, Le Beluga N°5 et un A319 à Toulouse et un A380 en Finale à Chateauroux)

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF ANY OF YOU HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM THAT I HAVE. MY HUD IS BLANK. HGS CONTROL PANEL IN IN PRI IMC BUT ANYWAY DOESNT WORK. NO ONE SEEMS TO HAVE THE ANSWER. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF ANY OF YOU HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM THAT I HAVE OR IF IT IS A UNIQUE CASE. THANKS IN ADVANCE, TATIN 98

Hi folks, I've recently noticed that with the HUD in view, sometimes some of the runway lights disappear! I notice this in LOWI approach Rwy 26 as an example. The moment the HUD is raised, the runway lights re-appear. Note: landing lights / taxi light / rwy turnoff lights don't have an influence on this (I'm aware that the windshield wiper gets lit by the landing lights but that's no biggie) Does anyone have a clue as to what might be causing this? Anyone know why or how to fix the Hud in P3D? Everything else work but the Hud. I also have a screen shot if it will help. Thanks!
