November 16, 201213 yr Hello all, Ever since I've used EZdok with the NGX (which is awesome) the camera view for the PIC is not in the correct position and makes the HUD display itself get cut off when in certain modes. I've tried editing the camera within FSX but when I do it only jumps around, not moves smoothly, and doesn't help the problem. This is especially frustrating, especially when using AIII mode, that I cannot see the HGS and the information it provides. Currently my options are too much to the left, or too much to the right. I was also wondering if I could just edit the POV config file to move it without jumping 10 coordinates instead of 1. Any chance I could do that?
November 16, 201213 yr Your title is not true !! I use EZdok with the HUD and it works fine. If you look in the settings somewhere within EZdok there is a means to slow the camera down when making new positions, which allows very fine movements so you can get a camera angle exactly where you want it. I have done this and now have two positions one for normal flying and one positioned to use the HGS, changed by clicking a button on my joystick. Take another look at the EZdok Youtube tutorials. November 17, 201213 yr Author Your help fixed the problem, but it's just that there's no one perfect position. I'll just have to mess with the settings a bit. Oh well, all I needed was to see the HGS display.
November 17, 201213 yr Hi Ariel, as Glen kindly pointed out you just need to go into EZDOK General Settings, and in the keyboard section fine tune the speed and smoothness dials. The more you tinker with these settings, the more flexibility you'll have with EZDOK and getting the HGS position you desire "just right". This is what us EZDOK users with the NGX have achieved. Rgds & best of luck with it.
