I've unsuccesfully tried to install the ISD LIMJ scenery into FS9. The file was originally for FS2002 and ISD does provide a separate patch for FS9 compatibility, however, since I do not have FS2002, the installer can't find the path to FS2002 in my registry, and hence won't install the program. Is there any way I can open the contents (files) of the installer to manually place the files into FS9 or is there another workaround?ThanksChris

You should have a "dummy" Fs2002.exe file in your Flight Simulator 9 folder. That is usually enough to allow an installer to install a FS2002 product.I would check to see if you have it as a first step. Not sure how you would add that data to the registry if that is where your installer is really looking.

You should be able to get both files as .zip files and then you can install both quite easily.File names are... isdproject_-_limj_2002.zip and isdproject_limj_fs2004_patch.zip.Both have worked well for me for the last couple of years.Colin BEDIT. Both still available here at Avsim.

I just downloaded it and the patch to make it work in FS2004 - from the Avsim library.Although it took a minute or so for the install dialogue to come up, I was able to direct the installation to a temporary folder (which I always do with any auto-installer).I did get an error message saying it could not find the FS2002 info in the registry. But I proceeded and then all it said was that I would have to activate the scenery manually. Apparently the only reason it wanted the FS2002 path was so it could add (activate) the scenery automatically.No problems installing it. Worked fine for me - XP operating system.

Dave & Colin:Thanks for your responses. When given the option to "Repair" or "Remove" on a second go around, I choose "Repair" and that is just what the installer did. All set. I now have Genova.Chris
