January 20, 201016 yr I am a noob at this too but I'll try1) deselect runway follows terrain contours in the rendering options, this fixed alot of problems for me2) the gray box may be an object, I seem to remember that that scenery had an box on the runway when you ran it in DX-10 modeso get a hold of dsf OverlayEditor, from the same guy who made FS2xplane, open the scenery and see if you can select and delete the box.good luck
