I am a noob at this too but I'll try1) deselect runway follows terrain contours in the rendering options, this fixed alot of problems for me2) the gray box may be an object, I seem to remember that that scenery had an box on the runway when you ran it in DX-10 modeso get a hold of dsf OverlayEditor, from the same guy who made FS2xplane, open the scenery and see if you can select and delete the box.good luck

Thanx PingPong. But as I wrote in the original post, I tried to follow the steps found at http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?showtopic=35790 So I do use Overlay Editor in order to get this right, but it is a mess.I lso already have the runway follows terrain unselected./J

Hi, this problem I've noticed myself. I recently saw this file in the .org forum, it might help:http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?app=do...p;showfile=9414One of my very early youtube vids (id5556) had a great 737 landing at this very short and sloped faulty runway!Simon.
