Is it possible to alter the language settings of FSX without reinstalling it? I'd be more convenient with english language for displayed text and communications.RegardsPatrick

No. Clear enough?AFAIK you'd need to obtain an English Language disc set to install from.Unless installing the ENGLISH version of SP2 or Acceleration chages the language. Try it and see.

ok, clear enough :( as i already installed SP2 german, do you think i could "overwrite" it with another install of SP2 english? and then it's completely in english language or just updated/service pack fixed stuff?

Hi,If you want English there is one way:Purchase the English version.Completely uninstall the German version.Install the English version.Use the English version SPs and/or English Acceleration.

Hi,You need to purchase the version of FSX in the language you wish to use.You cannot switch from one language version to another.You must use the matching language versions of SP1, SP2, and Acceleration.You must uninstall the FSX version you do not want to have.
