This is my 1st time OC and I just wanted to get some help form you guys :(The thing is ive just brought a new PC (and what a PC!) but id like to OC to improve performances even more.My new System:Prosessor: INTEL CORE I7-920 4 x 2.66GHz 8MB cache LGA1366Motherboard: ASUS P6T DELUXE V2 LGA1366, X58, Socket-1366, DDR3, ATX, SLI&CrossFireX, 3xPCIRam: CORSAIR TWIN3X 1600MHz DDR3, 6GB, DHX Graphics card: Sapphire HD4890 OC (2x DVI, TV-Out) 2x DVIPower Suppy: CORSAIR Powersupply 750W Black, ATX/EPS, 140mm Fan, 8xSATA, SLISource (keep in mind its Norwegian):http://www.eliteshop.no/?menu=produktinfo&id=77And as you can see it has not got the biggest cooling system and I was wondering how Big of a OC i should go, before its starts melitng (a safe temprature)Pleas put in mind that im a complete newbie when it comes to this!Please reply as soon you get time for it.Appreciate it. :)

Looks good except the graphics card isn't ideal for FSX. You really want a Geforce GTX 275 or 285 for optimal performance and image quality.

What cooling system? As far as I can see your using the stock CPU Cooler. Did you by an aftermarket cooler?

I have the same Mobo, CPU and possible RAM as you and run it stable and overclocked to 3.8 GHz with these settings in the bios:BLCK Frequency 190DRAM Frequency DDR3.1523CPU voltage 1.35QPI/DRAM Voltage 1.35DRAM Bus voltage 1.35I have a zalman cpu cooler which is quite large but it works very well. However, I would be very cautios overclocking with the default cooler.Picure of the cooler

Use OCCT to make sure that you have a stable OC at safe temps (below 80C). You find OCCT here: http://www.ocbase.com/

Hey, thanks Ulf, that is a nice little does it all kepp it simple tool to keep in the tool box!Just ran a six hour test and it left me with some half dozen graphs for the record, shveet!
