February 4, 201016 yr Hi Folks:Earlier today I flew from KPDX to KSEA on a PMDG 737-700. The flightplan followed the route BTG OLM OLM3. On arrival I was cleared to 34L and selected ILS34L and the OLMx.34L STAR on the FMC. The FMC confirmed the ILS frequency of 110.75, but as I made the turn to 34L, descended and selected APP on the AP the FMC displayed nav invalid on the scratchpad. I was unable to receive the localizer and glideslope. I checked the AFCAD and KSEA 34L was correct. What am I doing wrong? I have navigraph cycle 0905 and sidstars cycle 1001 installed.Thanks for any help! BTW handflying the approach was successful! February 5, 201016 yr I believe the 747 sets frequencies for ILS/LLZ automatically. I don't know about other navaids. The 737NGs do not.
