Actually, the forum rule is full names are required. Regardless, the -8 doesn't change the 400X panels or anything else but the exterior model (and the location of the cockpit of course).

Hi, thanks for your help...but I have a problem to fly with 740-400-8 without the vc...I use the PMDG 747-400 FSX Load Manager.. (after I have select the 740-400-i8 in the PMDG 747-8 & 400 Config Manager and save configuration) when I click in the Load Manager "virtual cockpit" to off it ... the selection is inactive... and I see that when I select in FSX 740-400-i8 the PMDG 747-400 FSX Load Manager is not "connected" whit it!?can you help me?thanksLucio Lepore

If you have Vista or W7, run the config manager with admin rights. I don't know why the load manager doesn't connect, maybe you need to email pmdg support... be sure to get an automatic reply.
