Nice landing. That thing is extremely quiet. I watched both the takeoff and landing and the GA traffic was louder at the airport.

The famous (or infamous) Seattle weather...They must start thinking seriously of moving the assembly plant to Florida. :(

Hey, thats about a qtr. mile from my house, I live just up the road there on Garfield last new house on the right. I probably saw you in the store a few times as I walk my dog by there almost everyday. Small world, I nn to get me a enhanced drivers license so I can come back up to your neck of the woods. No kidding!! that was about 6-7 years ago now. I was just there a week ago, visiting my ex's dad in Everson. I manged to get bronze medal hockey tickets. But other than that I'll just watch the rest on tv. They have all the streets shut down to cars downtown Van. so I'm going to stay away from that gongshow! :(

I bet those tickets were expensive, are they at GM Place? Ya, am sure security and the such will create a real zoo, and the traffic will be outrageous. I am suprised that we don't have any banners or something here in Sumas. You know that Ship Happens use to be a saloon and I was sorry when they closed, it had a real old west atmosphere. So many things have closed since we moved here, such is the life in a line town. Boy, winter has been like a long spring, can't believe how little snow there is this year. Did you go to school in Everson? my wife is a teacher at the middle school in Everson.

The olympic hockey wil be held at GM. Place, but is known as Hockey place for the games. I did not go to school in Everson as I am a Canadian, I went through school in Surrey. I have been to the old saloon there many times in the past. Long before the 9/11 stuff, when you could cross the border a lot easier! Is El Nopal still there? Great food! If so is Jose still there?

My son Nicholas worked at El Nopal for about 3 years and I don't know if Jose is still there...my son may know.....you probably had him as a cook or waiter as he worked almost every day. Hockey is one of my favorite events and I will be interested to see how the U.S. womans team does this time around. I hope everyone does not try to come through Sumas or the traffic will be backed up past the High school, that in itself could be a real pain. I suspect the Border Patrol will be very busy, and as our house sits only a few hundered feet from the border I hope we get no knocks late at night from some guy looking for the U.S.! ha ha
