PMDG 747 at J&R

Featured Replies

I just picked up the PMDG 747-400 for FSX at J&R.com for $29.99 USD. Store's here are selling them for $90 CDN (about $80 USD), I have seen them online for as low as $69. So it is a great deal to say the least (they also have the Aerosoft Twin Otter for $30 among other FS titles ).Anyway. I would love to know if any fellow flight simmers know a retail store that sells the MD11 at this discount rate? Would love to find a deal like that for that bird. I just paid $69 USD for the FS2004 version in the summer (and worth every penny I might add but if I can get a deal like this again why not....).

Here's one of the original threads discussing Aerosoft and PMDG's pairing up to market the 747-400 (as well as some other titles). There's no sign of the MD-11 yet, but if the 747-400 sells well in a retail setting, I don't see why they wouldn't move towards putting the MD-11 out there as well someday!

One would hope, but I've seen various comments that PMDG was really not happy with the way the pricing scheme worked out on the 747X. I don't really know the reasons why or any of the original arguments though.
