737 FS9: panel saving

Featured Replies

I was wondering if a PMDG person could answer this.First of all, I know I'm being a pain in the butt. That's because panel saving for me is a crucial feature of a plane. The lack of it had been the sole reason that I've not bought the current PMDG 737 yet. Now, I know it's not decided yet whether the NGX will make it to FS9. However, suppose it does not come to FS9, will you guys implement a way to save the panel state in the FS9 737? In my opinion, that's the one thing that would complete an addon that is cited by many as one of the best FS addons ever released.

Benjamin, I think the chances of them updating the NG is pretty remote. The original code was written for FS2002 by someone not with them anymore and revising somebody elses code if not thoroughly documented is very time consuming. Any why would they want to risk a product that could subvert sales from the NG ver2? Just my opinion, like belly buttons, we all have them.

I think the chances are pretty remote too, but instead of speculating and thinking about it, I thought I'd simply ask... If they say "no", then so be it. If they say "maybe" or even "yes", then I'll go through the roof with joy. No harm in asking, though, is there?
