February 27, 201016 yr FSX was fun before RC. I would fly my IFR flight plan and be satisfied even if I did a lousy flight. But after installing RC the whole scene has changed. Flying a sim is now very much like the real thing. It makes me plan more and get serious about procedures that I had almost forgotten. In short..now FSX is REALLY fun. Of course sometimes the after flight critiques are a bit hard on the ego I usually use just RC but sometimes us It's Your Plane with RC. They seem to make a good combo. At present I am trying to refly in the sim all the routes we flew when I was flying tankers in the late 50'-early 60's. Anyhow, thanks for a super program. I am really looking forward to RC 5. Same here. I've flown FS since 5.1 and used to fly in real life. I finally got RC4 about a month ago and love it! No more zig-zags to final, no more being forgotten several miles out. It is very real.Another add-on you might look at is It's Your Plane. It allows voice commands for almost everything and interfaces to RC very nicely.
March 1, 201016 yr Another add-on you might look at is It's Your Plane. It allows voice commands for almost everything and interfaces to RC very nicely.I just left a follow-on post asking about using MCE with RC4. I did not know there was another tool available that works with RC. "Its Your Plane".....I'll check it out. Mind if I ask what works well with "Its Your Plane" and what are some things you would like changed (as it relates to using RC4)?Thanks

For IYP it has to be setup to handle an aircraft if it's not stock or one of the 70 or so the author makes the changes. However, he is very responsive and usually adds new a/c quickly if you post in the IYP forum and ask for it. I really can't think of any changes needed to make IYP work better with RC4. The times I've used it things just worked.
