February 28, 201016 yr Just wanted to check the weather (in EDDF; FS not running) and I have seen, that the metar is from 7th of February as this was my last flight date.I checked "force to real time" and pressed "refresh", because I thought that then the actual wetaher will be downloaded... but nothing happens!Active date and time is showing date and time from now.Even clicking to "force real time" an closing and restartin ASE doesn't help...Only if I go to "historical" I can force ASE to download actual weather. If FS runs it will set very well to the FS weather but also not to the actual weather if I want to change that. How is the normal way to force ASE to download the actual weather?Couldn't it be implemented that "refresh" always will download the weather again, according to the setting is "real time" or "sim time"?That would be very logical for me...thanks, Guenter Guenter Steiner -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Betatester for: A2A, LORBY, FSR-Pillow Tester --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

February 28, 201016 yr I have the same problem - located in ELLX (close to EDDF ;-) ). When I want correct metar I have to do as colleague above. of course at that time automatic downloads disables automaticaly and after metar is ok I have to tick it again. Tom Link
February 28, 201016 yr Hi All,Is ASE being blocked by your firewall-antivirus?Without FS running, start ASE and see if it does an initial data download. If not then please post your ASE_Log.txt file.
February 28, 201016 yr This might be the case. I just added ASE to my safe software list on the antivir software. Should be fine, however I have to admit that today twice ASE took correct metar before I did the change :) Tom Link
