March 6, 201016 yr any help in locating the menu tab that lets me start the 737 ng 400 from "cold & dark" as well as assigmning "stairs to keyboard command would be greatly appreciatedRegards,Bob AdamsSNA
March 7, 201016 yr I did not see one of the packs turned on to auto. I believe the 737NGs can have one turned on through take-off once engines are running. There is enough bleed available leaving enough thrust for take-off.Also I use a Piper Arrow III as the default flight parked cold and dark at a gate. This helps to initialize the FS engine which uses this flight when creating or even prior to loading your PMDG flight. You can see how this works looking at a test flight I've loaded by examining the FSUIPC.log in the modules folder. This avoids the manual two flight procedure often recommended when you create or load a saved flight with the NG.DebugStatus=15 15423 System time = 06/03/2010 14:54:55 15433 H:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\ 15433 System time = 06/03/2010 14:54:55, FS2004 time = 12:00:00 (00:00Z) 36112 C:\Documents and Settings\Ron Ginsberg\My Documents\Flight Simulator Files\KANE - ARROW III - SPRING - DAY.flt 36453 AIRCRAFT\Piper Arrow-III\Piper Arrow-III.air 36473 Aircraft="Piper Arrow-III panel" 47098 RemoveATC: Intercepting ATC window calls to prevent them appearing 47098 Patching ATC to recover ATC.DLL crashes at 000265f4 47098 Patching ATC to recover ATC.DLL crashes at 0001a961 47098 Patching ATC to recover ATC.DLL crashes at 0002a631 57623 Advanced Weather Interface Enabled 171076 AIRCRAFT\saab340\saab340.air 171096 Aircraft="Saab 340B" 336124 System time = 06/03/2010 15:00:15, FS2004 time = 19:52:05 (17:52Z) 336124 *** FSUIPC log file being closedMemory managed: 0 Allocs, 150 FreedBTW, the date is in European format of day/month/year before you tell me I'm in the future :)
March 9, 201016 yr Hi,I have spend many hours for the start procedure. The link above for the video was the solution!!!BUT, now I'm ready for takeoff and the next big problems occurs. (Sometimes I was very close by a deinstallation of this PMDG plane. Really!!)Problems:- I open FMC and reload the flight, created and saved as described in Shortmanual (EDDH-EDDM)- klick 'activate' and EXEC Button- after takeoff I select LNAV as described, ok- then try to activate VNAV and Autopilot, - it is not possible to activate VNAV, AP Yes, but not VNAV- LNAV turns off, and the plane begin to sinking and crashThat my story, nice ? isn't it :( Ruedi Burkhard
