Framerates Feelthere E-jets

Featured Replies

Good morning everybody,Is there any news on the problem of the low framerates when using the E-jets of Wilco/Feelthere?I have searched the forum and found a few topics on it but no solution.Since I still use Fs-9, I have quite a few addon's installed (among them PMDG 737 & 747, Leonardo's maddog...)None of those have the same problem (and are older) as the E-jets and all are running fine on Windows 7 64bit.Can anybody shed some light on the issue or point me to a thread here on the forums in which I can find a solution (except putting the plane in a hangar collecting dust, I mean)ThanksLuc BrusselmansBelgium

LucTry here: http://forum.iemit.com/Default.aspx?g=topics&f=13 Unofficial forum for E-jets. There must be some sort of solution as these planes run very well on my average spec system. Hope you find something.

Over 10 years here and AVSIM is still my favourite FS site :-)

Unless explicitly listed on wilco's website, FeelThere products do NOT support win 7 64 bit. That is why you are getting poor FPS.

Well,I tend to disagree.Since quite a lot of users are flying those planes on windows 7 64bit powered systems without significant problems, there has to be some kind of 'bottleneck' that slows down my system. And yes, neither Feelthere nor Wilco supports it but no support doesn't mean that the planes don't work...or can't be made to work.As a matter of fact, when no one jumped on this toppic (until now I mean) I started to tweak some settings myself and with some degree of succes if I may say so myself. Before my tweaking I got between 8 and 18 fps and now I am up to 20 to 35 fps...Not the same fps as with pmdg or levelD but at least flyable...Luc BrusselmansBelgium

The fact that it's not supported barely means it won't work correctly... It means that official support from Feelthere will not be provided to users of the unsupported OS--should a problem arise. I felt I should clarify this as it ran perfect on my Win7 64 system, and others looking to purchase may be put off by your comment. To the OP, besides the basics : Gauge framerate adjust, lower traffic settings. I'm at a loss.

With FS9, are you using the WindowsXP compatibility mode? If so, try turning it off.

On my system, I had a similar problem. Running everything as admin and in XP compatablility mode, I still got terrible fps in all of my feelthere products, which, lo and behold, do not support win7 64bit. I had freinds that ran the entire feelthere line on the exact same OS with no problems, but I can only speak from my own experiences.
