Navigational Data

Gents:I have not changed anything on my PC and yet I seem to have lost some PMDG nav. data. In the MD11 ILS is untunable at EDDF and 747-400 to CYYZ ILS33R has no data. ILS33L was available but the aircraft would not line up for runway on autopilot.. These are the only two airports I have flown lately. I think I have all PMDG updates installed for both aircraft. I am a little puzzled at this. All was working well a week ago when I last flew these aircraft.Any help would be appreciated.

Untunable? As in the FMS does not automatically provide a frequency for the ILS or when you manually tune it, there is no reception? The ILS info is in the wpNavAPT.txt file, the data dictionary for the navdata is in the pmdg kb here: http://support.precisionmanuals.com/KB/a60...a-glossary.aspxIt is easy to check the data with any text editor, search for EDDF and you will get one line for each runway and the kb article will help you decode it. This will tell you if it is data problem or may operator problem. No data for an airport when trying to load a sid or star in the MD11 is usually caused by an error in the sidstar file for that location. The MD11 doesn't provide an error message, just a blank screen.

Navdata should not affect your ability to tune an ILS - that's done with the FS radio system, not with the navdata. If you type in a frequency+course manually, it should tune it no matter what.
