Fellow Simmers:After a computer crash some time ago I was recently able to regain my copy of AeroStudios ATC Simulator. Without the patience and help of their support people I would never have been able to run the ATC Simulator.

Gents:After a crash and re-installing everything and getting it activated there are no appproaches available when seeting up the FMC. I think I have done everything in the correct order.I did a search here but didn't come up with the answer.Any help would be appreciated.

Hello:Your stone in the pond equates in English as FLOGGIN A DEAD HORSE. I have tweaked these numbers in every manner possible with not a lot of difference from one scenario to the next. A google search will return some good results some of which may explain the formula you mention. In addition to google you can also search here at Avsim for care and control of fs9.cfg and there will find some good info. Some pilots out there have put their config files online for you to copy and try. The end result that I found was trial and error until you get the settings that work best. With so many different combinations of hardware and lots of scenery and aircraft textures to load up it still seems hit and miss. Hope this helps a little. Good luck with it.

Fellow Pilots:The NL2000 FSX files are all in the library now and all linked together. To avoid confusion due to the number of files and links I suggest grabbing the whole package because they all require the installer and some require the NL 2000 libraries.Almost Live From Canada....."keep your stick on the ice".

Gents:I have not changed anything on my PC and yet I seem to have lost some PMDG nav. data. In the MD11 ILS is untunable at EDDF and 747-400 to CYYZ ILS33R has no data. ILS33L was available but the aircraft would not line up for runway on autopilot.. These are the only two airports I have flown lately. I think I have all PMDG updates installed for both aircraft. I am a little puzzled at this. All was working well a week ago when I last flew these aircraft.Any help would be appreciated.

Guys:Thanks for all the advice. My first PC was store built in 1986. I have built all the rest and I do most of my shopping at Tiger Direct. I was trying to keep the price down but after reading what everyone says I guess I may have to pry open my wallet and do a major upgrade.

Ryan:I guess it is like my ancient Yamaha here so it needs to be upgraded to a Les Paul.

Gents:I need a little advice possibly for a small hardware upgrade or maybe some more tweaks because I have had FSX sitting on the shelf for over a year and now installed it so I can run the JS4100 from PMDG.My machine is Asus M2N-MX-SE Plus2 GB 1066 RamRadeon 4650 1 GBAMD Athlon X2 6000 @ 3.2 GHZI have XP tweaked down to 77% free Ram before starting FSAutostartI think I have tried all the FS tweaks including PCI Latency.FSX runs but as soon as I switch to JS4100 things go downhill. I think it has to be a tweak or a hardware setting.Would a motherboard with more cache help? A different processor AM2 socket.If this should be in the hardware forum I apologize but I figured the PMDG pilots would be the best to ask.

Hi All:I had a complete computer crash and after doing a complete re-install of everything(fs9) the B747-400 does not follow the magenta line during a flight. The plane seems to be pointed at a 45 degree angle to the magenta line. I am wonder if has something to do with the navdata. I had never updated to the 2.1 or whatever the last update number was until now and I believe that is the version I downloaded to re-install.Any help would be appreciated.RegardsRickAvsim Deputy Library DirectorAvsim Online!
