Looking for an old 4 engine prop

Featured Replies

Looking for a good 4 engine prop addon.I have in mind the b377 or the constellation.I seem to remember a while back on here looking at a Connie addon and thinking how good it looked but I can't remember who made it.Any thoughts? Realistic/complex is the key here

Go for A2A B377 Stratocruiser. You won't regrat. The first thing, which come to my mind reading the topic (not the post itself), was B377.It is comlexed, AccuSim adds more realism and it is eye candy too.

Just Flight make the Constellation add on (there are other Connie add-ons, but being a fairly recent release, that's probably the one you were thinking of). Just Flight's Connie is nice, but if you want realism then there are probably better choices. That's not to say that Just Flight's Connie is an easy bird to fly, or that it is not realistic, but it is not 'obsessively realistic', which it's my guess is what you are after. So you'd probably be more satisfied with the A2A stuff, notably the Stratocruiser and possibly the B-17, both of which are really cool, although the Stratocruiser probably edges it for obsessive realism in comparison to the Flying Fortress. At the outside, and only with two engines, but extremely realistic, is Aerosoft's PBY Catalina. It has extremely well modeled engine parameters, and is completely faithful to the real deal, which means flying it right is something of an art, so if it's a challenge you want, then even with only two rather than the four engines you are looking for, it is worth some consideration.Al
