"Decent" planes, "dated" system.. ..

After getting the Citation V2 I have been holding off getting anything else (until I get a new PC, probably a few months away) - since my system runs that at between 12-15 FPS, I am also running ASE with it as well, so it is as much a comment on my system as the aircraft after all it is a complex jet. But I felt like flying other things for a change over the last couple of weeks so I took a chance and bought the Quest Kodiak, which even with the hi-res VC pack runs at pretty much 20FPS with the GPS screen on .. .. Looks and flys pretty damn well .. .. .... .. .. so after "thinking about it" for a good while I made the jump and got the L39... ... Amazing - again a good solid 20fps, GPS screen makes no discernable difference, and what a blast to fly .. .. probably caused a few virtual avalanches in the alps this morning !!All on a system that I have been told is not up to FSX: AMD Athlon 64 3200, ATI HD3850, 2GB RAM......... Got to say I am very impressed, well done to Lionheart and Lotus..G

I agree regarding Lotus. He has raised the bar.....significantly. (I don't have the Lionheart bird.)

I love the Kodiak. It's one of the 'forgotten' FSX gems. On my system it runs almost as good as the defaults.Glad you're having fun with it.Ian
