Hi,I have been using FSX on my new i7 W7/64 pc since January. Soon after I had set it all up I noticed that the default 737 panel disappeared at night in DX9. It would still be there in DX10 mode.After installing the Level-D 767 I noticed that in DX9 the aircraft was missing parts of it wing and engines in DX9. It was ok in DX10.So, ok, I went for DX10. One has to accept the already known flaws it has, but FSX performed very well.Recently I installed the PMDG MD11. Ok in DX10, but missing wheels and engines in DX9 and the gauges in the VC are not there. It a grey panel.I have a Dell pc with the nVidia GTS240 video card. I have noticed that these drivers are very much Dell specific. And so I wonder if the deal between Dell and nVidia could be that they disable the DX9 functionality hoping a customer will buy a new card should he wish to run DX9 games. Or aren

You've concocted quite the theory there, but I assure you it is a fantasy. What you are experiencing is a bug specific to FSX, rather than any collaboration between Nvidia and Dell to ruin your fun or force you to buy a new card.

Win7-64 and FSX do not play together well when using high settings with complex scenery and complex aircraft.The cure is lower your settings and expectations or go back to XP64 like many of us are doing.

You could try different drivers.
