March 31, 201016 yr Hi All,I just recently re-installed this amazing aircraft but I'm having difficulties adjusting the PDF/NDB look. I know how to change the style and look of the PFD and NDB to the way the European airlines have it set... but for some reason it's not working. I've installed this aircraft in the past and everything has worked fine. However, for some reason I am not able to change the PFD and NDB style to the European style...Any help would be great.Cheers,James W.

I hope it's not like SWA's retard-retro sixpack. . . Matt Cee
March 31, 201016 yr Note how the PFD in North-American airlines that operate the 737 NG, look like this: In a European airline like Air Berlin, look how the PFD looks different. It has a different style.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EAKOevH9x8ANotice how in the US version you've got like 4 instrumental displays in 1 LCD display... and note how in the European one you've got one big ADI with the FMA, Speed Tape, and Altimeter tape on the sides...Well in the PMDG 737 addon you can do this change. By default when you install it... you get the North-American look so to say. But you can change this! And I've done so in the past. For some reason it's not working now?Do you know what I mean now?
March 31, 201016 yr The display format is determined by the airline that uses the plane. I fly 737-800s for American Airlines and we use what you are calling the European (PFD/ND) style. My brother flies for Continental and they use what you call the North American "six pack" style. So does Southwest. The reason they do that is because they have older "round dial" 737s so the format will be the same for old and new planes. Delta, Alaska and Airtran also use the PFD/ND style display. You have to select which airlines format you want to use in the PMDG options menu in flight simulator. Tom Landry
April 1, 201016 yr Hi All,I managed to fix my problem. I wasn't running my user account as administrator which would therefore not allow me to make any changes to the way the PMDG was configured. Thanks for the support. I am delighted to see how active the support team is.Cheers,James W.
