Too sad that the announcement was made on the 31st and not the 1st. But the extremely talented Hans Hartmann, Alexander M. Metzger and Florian Praxmarer are closing their doors to pursue other professional goals.Congrats to that team for the fantastic add-ons they produced over the past years. My favorites are still their Fokker and the Cheyenne. It's always sad to see great developers leave the FS scene, but I do respect their decision and wish them well. I hope they stick around as "regular" simmers now ;-)Thanks Digital Aviation and Happy Trails,Pete

Yes, bad news as they were producing high quality complexe aircraft. If I understood correctly, there is a chance that the CRJ will see the day. I hope so indeed, I was REALLY looking forward to that one.Anyway, good luck, Gentlemen with your future occupations and thanks!

Well, at least they do continue on the Fokker VC and the CRJ...

Like Aeroworx, long period of low level of activities ends in dissolution. I'm glad that they plan to continue to develop, or at least finish what's been started. Digital Aviation has always been a special FS team for me. Although I'm user of only one of their products, the Cheyenne, I regard it as one of the best aircraft addons ever made. Hans never gave up on it, over the years they released several SPs for much needed fixes and improvements. After the latest SP I make a couple of improvements that I felt I needed. Now to me the cheyenne is perfect. Since their forum will be closed I'd like to post what I did here. As a tribute to DA's work maybe? And I'd be happy to share as well.Best wishes and luck to all DA members. And thank you for your great work.1. Reality-XP gauges retrofit and correct night lighting texture.vc.jpg2. Pressurization system overhaul. My post in DA forum:For years I've been having issues with the cabin pressurization system installed in my Cheyenne IA. After a long while repair turns out to be unattainable. Yesterday I got hold of a pressurization system out of a Beechcraft Kingair B200. So I dragged my IA into the hangar and went to work. It didn't go well at all last night but after sleeping on it this morning the key issue was resolved. Now the B200 system is fully retrofitted in my Cheyenne and working properly. Here are some snapshots. This is the key. The entire 2D system panel has to be installed because it contains the actual "brain" of the B200 cabin system. This window does NOT need to be visible at all because all gauges and controls are on the main panel. I only have this 2D window visible for testing.c1.pngHere is all the gauges and controls on the main panel. The rate select and target cabin alt. select knobs are overlaid on top of the gaugesc2.pngHere is everything in VC. c3.pngSo now finally I can fly the Cheyenne over FL200 without my cabin practically going through explosive decompression. And I can land at high altitude airports with a properly pressurized cabin, instead of a sea level "pressure cooker".
