April 3, 201016 yr I have a copy of FSX Standard edition that is no longer used since I upgraded to the Deluxe. If I give the standard edition away will the receiver be able to activate it? AMD 3800X, Gigabyte Radeon 5700XT, AS Rock X570 Phantom Gaming 4, 32mb 3600 ram

If I give the standard edition away will the receiver be able to activate it?Most probably yes, it shouldn't be a problem. I've installed my copy of FSX deluxe several times on three different PCs (not at the same time, obviously) without any activation problems. Klas Member of AVSIM's Around the World Race Team

If I give the standard edition away will the receiver be able to activate it?Yes they will just have to go through activation, and worst case if you've reinstalled too many times they would have to go through phone activation which is what I have to do now after so many installs due to upgrading my systems and OS since I bought FSX... I'm actually thinking about buying another copy of FSX to avoid the phone activation every time I reinstall. --John near KPAE

Maybe it depends on where you live...? I don't know, but I won't buy an extra copy of FSX for this. :(
April 3, 201016 yr Author Thank you for your replies. I've only installed and activated once so I should be ok. AMD 3800X, Gigabyte Radeon 5700XT, AS Rock X570 Phantom Gaming 4, 32mb 3600 ram
